A Special Meeting of the Portage County Democratic Central Committee will take place electronically on Wednesday, September 4, to consider the endorsement of candidates and/or issues appearing on the November Ballot.

The Meeting will take place at 6:00 PM via zoom.

The Ohio Democratic Party will hold in-person caucuses across the state in each of Ohio’s 15 Congressional Districts on Tuesday, January 9th.

Our caucus for the 14th District will take place at Lakeland Community College, where 29 Democrats will compete for five total delegate slots.

Get to Know Collin Marozzi

Collin Marozzi serves as Deputy Policy Director for the ACLU of Ohio.

Collin earned his BA in Political Science from Allegheny College in May of 2012. He then went on to pursue his graduate studies at the University of Akron where he received a Masters of Applied Politics from UA’s Bliss Institute. While studying at the Bliss Institute, Collin had the opportunity to intern with Common Cause Ohio and Senator Sherrod Brown’s office in Columbus.

Collin's mission in his work is to defend and preserve individual rights and liberties that are guaranteed to everyone in the Constitution He is a champion of  racial, economic, gender, and social equity for all Ohioans, focusing on legal and election advocacy to fight in both principle and practice for the best ideals of fairness, freedom, and justice.
